Big call – but they deliver.
Lindsay Field, Sam See & Glyn Mason have between them sung and played together and separately in some of Australia’s biggest acts over many years.
Since arriving from Paekakariki NZ, to play ‘Claude’ in the original Australian production of HAIR, Lindsay has made his musical mark in many ways. Most familiar for his appearances with John Farnham, he has also worked with Olivia Newton-John, Jimmy Barnes, Glenn Shorrock, Renee Geyer, and Paul Kelly.
An accomplished guitarist and keyboard player, Sam was a founding member of Sherbet and later joined stellar Australian bands Flying Circus and Fraternity. After a stint with Canadian rock orchestra Lighthouse, Sam returned to Australia in the late 70s and formed Stockley, See and Mason with Glyn Mason, and Chris Stockley of Dingoes.He has played on and produced records by artists including Tina Arena, Brian Cadd, Normie Rowe, Goanna and The Black Sorrows.
From the day he arrived in Oz as lead singer with Larry’s Rebels, Glyn’s distinctive voice has been held in awe by all musicians and most who have heard it. For that reason, he was recruited for seminal bands like Chain, Copperwine, Ariel, Home and Stockley, See and Mason with Sam See. Glyn formed another great band, Tour De Force, which provided a vehicle for his unique songwriting talent. Sam later invited him into Brian Cadd’s touring band.
Their playing is magnificent, their interpretation of Australian classics in this show is unparalleled and, their harmonies are sublime.
