Welcome to Listen To Older Voices, a program produced by Rob Greaves and podcast through the Toorak Times and Tagg” style=”3d” color=”orange”][/vc_cta][/vc_column][/vc_row]Welcome to Part 1 of a 2-part Golden Moment Repeat program featuring the Life & Times of Libby Thomas. Originally aired in July 2013, we have taken it out of our vault of treasured memories to replay for those who may have missed it the first time.
Libby is a Baby Boomer being born in Melbourne in 1960. Her generation is one that has had such a significant influence on all our lives over the past 50 or so years.
Libby has an effervescent personality and that comes through strongly as we share her beliefs and her recollections. Under her families influence Libby has values both education and travel but, as we will learn, it’s music that is her passion. This is not so much as a musician, but as a mentor and a promoter.
Libby’s early life consisted of moving regularly from city to city because her fathers’ work, as a hospital administrator demanded it. Libby undertakes a nursing diploma, travels widely and meets Mike, who will become her husband.
However its music that features most heavily in her life and her story.
