On Tuesday 26th June, Volunteers needed Melbourne CBD as Melbourne will join with more than 150 cities around the world to take part in the global advocacy campaign ‘Support’ Don’t Punish, calling for drug policies based on health and human rights.

The ‘Support Don’t Punish‘ street campaign aims to have a visible presence at 20 busy locations in Melbourne’s CBD to promote harm reduction drug policies.

Can you help on Wednesday 26th June between 10 am and 3 pm?

All volunteers will work in pairs with a partner or buddy and will be provided with a ‘Support’ Don’t Punish‘ t-shirt, charity ID badge, leaflets and a collection tin.

Please complete this form if you can help.

Why June 26? The Global Day of Action coincides with the UN’s International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking – a day marked by major human rights violations, including public executions for drug offenders. This day is our opportunity to change the narrative – rather than punishing people who use drugs, let’s reform our drug policies to support them.
