
Vintage Pokémon promos, sealed boxes, and a rare One Piece prize card headline a historic night for trading card collectibles
May 18, 2026 – Goldin, an internationally renowned auction house known for rare and record-breaking collectible sales, closed its 2026 Spring TCG & Manga Elite Auction on Sunday, May 17.
Headlining the auction was the 1998 Pokémon Japanese Promo Bronze 3rd Place 3rd Tournament Trophy Pikachu card, which realized $1,769,000 to become the highest public sale ever for the card. Additional top results include the 2024 One Piece Korean Serialised Top Prize Monkey D. Luffy card at $440,420; the 1996 Pokémon Club Part 1 Charizard at $294,021; and the 2024 Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Paldean Fates SIR Mew ex at $236,543.
