REDEARTH EXPANDS INSTALLER SUPPORT WITH AUSTRALIAN-BASED QUALIFIED ELECTRICIANS

Australian made energy storage solutions provider, RedEarth Energy Storage (RedEarth) announced today that it has expanded its customer success team to 12 staff, including Australian-based qualified electricians, to support its installer partners.

The expansion of the customer success team demonstrates RedEarth’s commitment to quality and service as it delivers Australian made residential and commercial & industrial batteries that it builds at its manufacturing facility in Darra, Queensland. This announcement coincides with Australian Made Week, highlighting the growing importance of local manufacturing, technical capability and sovereign supply chains.

Every RedEarth battery is now fully traceable with a record of images of each battery being built, wired and tested. Support team members can retrieve these images to support new installations and troubleshoot any issues when a system is being installed and commissioned together with RedEarth’s R&D team.

Marc Sheldon, CEO of RedEarth Energy Storage said, “We have built a real technical support operation with qualified electricians in Australia, not just a call centre. When an installer calls us, we can see exactly how a battery was built, how it was tested, and how it left our factory. That is  only possible because RedEarth manufactures our batteries in Australia.”

“While global OEM/manufacturers use global call centres to relay messages for technical support requests that could take up to two weeks to be addressed, we’re doubling down on our focus to lift quality standards for our installer partners and to deliver a quality installation for every RedEarth customer.”

New installer onboarding program launches in 2H/2026

A new onboarding program for installers will be introduced in the second half of 2026 where RedEarth will be available to support an installer through the entire battery installation and commissioning process in real-time with a RedEarth electrician.

Sheldon said, “In the past, we’ll ship a battery to our distributor or installer and we’ll only know it’s being installed when we get a call asking for help during an installation. We’ve built a new customer experience with our new onboarding program that allows RedEarth to validate and review an installation once it’s been completed.”

The onboarding program will include a live WhatsApp integration in the support platform giving installers working on-site a channel to share photos and exchange technical information asynchronously, eliminating the need to pause work to make calls with RedEarth’s customer success team.

Commitment to Australian made

RedEarth has a long-standing commitment to designing and manufacturing batteries in Australia. Its plug and play battery energy storage systems that support on-grid, off-grid and hybrid installations that have been certified Australian Made include:

Gecko: an all-in-one plug-and-play energy storage system that has been purpose built for urban installations where wall space and accessibility are key design considerations. Homeowners can customise their energy storage with the Gecko in both single-phase (5 kW or 10 kW) and three-phase (12 kW or 15 kW) configurations up to 44.8kW.

Troppo ULTRA: a re-engineered low-voltage battery that will deliver a 40 percent increase in core capacity. Designed as a modular solution for RedEarth’s Battery Energy Storage Systems, the Troppo ULTRA offers a nominal capacity of 5.6 kWh per unit. Combined with the latest battery management system, accessible 100A DC dual-pole MCB breaker, and a detailed display, Troppo ULTRA delivers a safe, highly efficient, and cost-effective service over the life of RedEarth systems, both on- and off-grid.

BlackMax: RedEarth’s original off-grid and on-grid battery energy storage solution that is designed for a shed, outdoor workstation, tiny home or a small weekender. It offers up to 12.3kWh of storage and 6kW power output and backup generator capability.

BushChook: Available in both single-phase (5kW or 10kW) and three-phase (12kW), the BushChook is an on-grid and off-grid battery that is available in both single and three-phase. It can be used for EV charging and energy trading with a maximum capacity of 44.8kWh.
