After more than a decade as Textile Recyclers Australia (TRA), the company is proud to announce its rebrand to Textile Recyclers Group (TRG), reflecting its expanding global reach, bold commitment to innovation, and growing network of partners.

This milestone marks a significant evolution in TRG’s journey to give textiles a second life and shape the future of circular fashion and textile reuse. Helping divert over one million kilograms of textiles from landfill and serving more than 200 clients across industries.

Our mission is clear: to keep textiles, including clothing, domestic textiles, industrial textiles and other fabrics, out of landfill, waterways, and burn pits by disrupting current processes with novel recycling solutions.

“Transparency, honesty, and integrity remain our core values,” said Ben Kaminsky and Maureen Taylor, TRG co-founders, in a joint statement. “With momentum building, we are scaling our operations, advancing proprietary innovations, and unlocking new market opportunities to deliver measurable environmental and commercial impact”.

Reaffirming Core Values

The rebrand offers an opportunity to reinforce TRG’s mission and guiding principles:

• Textiles: Viewed as a resource, not waste
• Circularity: Measurable, transparent systems that inform design, logistics, and analysis
• Environment: Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and harm reduction
• Technology: Scalable, practical innovations aligned with LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) standards

TRG remains committed to transparent sourcing, honest claims, and traceable material pathways — ensuring every step in the process is ethical and accountable.

A Future-Focused Vision

As Textile Recyclers Group, the company is positioned to scale its technical capabilities, deepen client partnerships, and accelerate product development for commercial applications. The rebrand highlights the essential role that innovation and technology will play in addressing global textile waste and advancing a truly circular economy.
